Battle: Los Angeles Wiki

Yes, I know, we should be offended by this, right, Battle: LA fans? Well, I wouldn't be considering how this is only one of a few zillion websites all throughout the Internet criticizing films such as Battle: LA, but you guys might wanna hear the whole story anyways. Recently, the popular website known as Screen Junkies created a list of the top 10 most forgettable films of 2011, and of course, guess what was at the top of the list? ;) (If you can't figure it out, it's Battle: Los Angeles). Here's what the website had to say about the film:

Battle: Los Angeles shocked everyone when it enjoyed a surprisingly bigger opening than anyone expected. It actually started a trend of studios eager to buy anything that featured a science fiction plotline, no matter how flimsy. Though not a terrible movie (Michelle Rodriguez gets punched by an alien), it was just missing a certain ingredient and proved almost instantly forgettable. If memory serves, they kill the aliens with water or something.

Now, personally, the whole comment about Michelle Rodriguez was very insulting to me -- I love her and personally think that her badass personality on and off the screen could've taken all the aliens by herself. Unfortunately, though, that would've been the worst film ever made, probably... But anyways, do you agree with Screen Junkie? Was Battle: LA really one of the worst films of 2011 AND one of the most unforgettable? You decide! :)
